Officer George Robert Colvin
(May 4, 1891 — Aug. 18, 1941)

Cause of death: Officer Colvin died as the result of a motorcycle accident.

Location of sign: South side of Exposition Boulevard, west of Figueroa Street, at the pedestrian crosswalk

Officer Joseph English Daniels
(July 9, 1902 — Sept. 24, 1941)

Cause of death: Officer Daniels died as the result of an automobile accident.

Location of sign: Southwest corner of West 52nd and South Main streets.

Officer Warren Gamel Chamberlain
(Sept. 13, 1914 — Dec. 25, 1941)

Cause of death: Officer Chamberlain died as the result of a motorcycle accident.

Location of sign: Northeast corner of Colorado Boulevard and Ellenwood Drive

Det. Lt. Mario Victor Deiro
(Feb. 23, 1911 — Dec. 31, 1942)

Cause of Death: Det. Lt. Deiro was shot to death during an argument with a man outside a tavern on New Year’s Eve.
